It's all about logistics

Getting all of us and our equipment to the airport is more than complicated. It started in rehearsals when we sorted out what we need and, just as important, what we don't need. After our last rehearsal, Lois took all the equipment home and she's been packing CDs and DVDs, checking weights (gotta stay under that 50 lb limit whenever possible), and crafting handles for our cases that had broken ones. Yesterday she and I sucked and packed the foam. Warren and I dropped off our personal bags (loaded with our things, as well as with a bunch of CDs and DVDs) at Lois' house to be taken to SFO with the equipment. This morning, some friends of hers are helping us get to the airport. One of them is going with Dave long before the crack of dawn to rent a cargo van, load it up and head to the airport. The other friend is taking Lois, Tess, Warren and me to BART. Thanks to Lois, Dave and Michèle, we have a good chance of getting all of us and our stuff where we're supposed to be. And we're off!
