It's the little things...

.....
Being in Japan is all about clueing in to the details. As I was practicing this morning in our hotel room in Osaka (our last day - we left in the late morning for the airport to fly to Tokyo), I watched the football (soccer) players getting ready for a game. I noticed that I couldn't really see through the bottom 1/3 or so of our window. We're on the 24th floor, so that meant I couldn't see most anything near the hotel. Hmm, I thought to myself.

Here's what it looked like:

See? That isn't water or fog or moisture in the bottom part of the window - it's simply obscured. The top part of the window is fine.

I then read this little sign stuck to the bottom of the window:

Now, tell me that isn't cool! Even Japanese hotel rooms are courteous.

Here's a complete panorama of the view from our room:

Off to Tokyo!!
